Lake Bosumtwi

RF with my guide, Edward.
I returned to Ghana in January, 2012 to teach another two-week-long workshop on sanitary and phytosanitary regulation.   For the middle weekend, I went to Kumasi with a Ghanaian friend, Frances, and spent a day hiking around Lake Bosumtwi.   Except that the hike is long -- 25 miles around the lake -- it is an easy and very pleasant walk passing through many banana and cocoa plantations and through 24 fishing villages.   The path is not always easy to find and so my local guide, Edward, was very welcome and helpful.   I was delighted to have him with me.
