Southwest canyon photographs
There are lots of  good southwest landscape photographers but most of them work only in Canyon de Chelly, Monument valley, Antelope canyon and a few other tourist sites.  Harvey Halpern is a backpacker and a photographer -  one of the few still working with 35mm.  His photos are from all over the southwest backcountry.  http://www.math.utah.edu/~sfolias/harveyhalpern/

People Photographs
Although I don't know Charlotte Bailey, I find her photographs of people in the developing world particularly appealing.     http://charlotterushbailey.com/

Phil Borges is another of my favorite portrait photographers.

Non-profit organizations
The Revolutionary Afghan Women's Association is not shy by confronting governments, the Afghan government or our own, and its angry rhetoric may be offensive to some.  But it is perhaps them most aggressive, active and determined of any non-profit in advocating for the welfare and liberation of women in Afghanistan.   Its website has many disturbing photographs of events in that country.

Madre is another very effective organization advocating for women's rights and welfare.

The Sierra Club National Outings Program with over 300 outdoor trips every year may be the largest outdoor travel organization on the planet.
